# MoneyTrees for developers

MoneyTrees tracks social and prediction-market signals for meme coins, stocks and prediction markets. Everything the app shows is also open to agents and code: two MCP servers, a REST API, a sandbox, a CLI and SDKs.

## When to use MoneyTrees

- An agent needs **what is moving right now** in crypto, meme coins or stocks, and why: top movers with the social signals behind them.
- An agent needs **social chatter for one ticker**: posts from X, Reddit, 4chan /biz/ and Truth Social, Polymarket and Kalshi markets, and congressional trade filings, with sentiment from -1 to 1.
- A signed-in user wants their **watchlists, alerts, open positions and portfolio** read or changed from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or a script.
- A user wants to **paper trade** an idea, or queue a live order that they approve in the app.

## API keys

MoneyTrees does not issue static API keys. Account access uses OAuth 2.1 access tokens that the user grants and can revoke in Settings. Public market data and the sandbox need no credential.
